BSDS proceeds from A New England Brew will be donated to a local charity or organization that helps underserved youth into creative endeavors. We are currently vetting several options.
From one of America’s first craft breweries, to the tea that sparked a revolution, brewing in New England is steeped in history and passion. This year’s theme, A New England Brew, celebrates the beloved art of “brewing”, our thirst for creativity, and what it means to be a New Englander. Interpret the theme in any way you please, all we ask is that you brew up something awesome.

Each design can include up to three colors (plus white) chosen from the palette below. Limiting the color choices will create visual continuity across all designs and simplify print production.
The full set of designs will be exhibited in the BSDS (online) shop, at Backlash Brewery, and shared on Instagram. Postcards and posters will be printed for each design to be sold at the kickoff party and online through December 2019. Additionally, the designs may also be used on apparel, limited edition beer labels or other merchandise to benefit the cause.
We trust your style and judgement to interpret the theme in a unique and interesting way, so that the entire show doesn’t look like this.
This show is open to the public. The audience will be everyone from designers to friends, families and of coarse the IPA-loving, weird-brew seeking enthusiasts.
Thin frames around the edge of the design are difficult to reproduce accurately across smaller printed sizes.
Please do not use any materials that you do not own the copyright for. Any designs that infringe on copyrights will be omitted from the show.
We respect that you are not participating in this project for financial gain, so credits will always be shown with the designs. We encourage you to seize this opportunity to showcase your talent and bring your business card along with yourself should any design opportunities arise. Your work will be seen and enjoyed by many.
Please submit your working file and a full-resolution jpg of your submission to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line “ANEB Submission - Your Full Name”. It would be a huge help if you could submit your files with the following naming convention:
We can’t wait to see what you contribute!
